Art Masters (5/6)
Instructor:
Michelle Valenzuela
Description:
Each week we will learn about the life and art of a famous artist. We will then create our own artwork inspired by the artist. Get ready to learn about Ben Day dots, comics with Lichentenstein, tessellations with Escher, apples with Cezanne, and tigers with Rousseau. This class is on a three-year rotation, so each year we will learn about 16 new artists.
Requirements:
Art is about creativity, self-expression and fun. I want to grow confident artists that are not worried about their end result but instead, enjoy the process of creating art. There are no mistakes in art and I want them to know that and have fun as well.
