Biblical Perspectives – Matthew Road Academy

Description:

This course will equip students to find biblical perspectives on challenging issues that all believers are faced with. Students will observe these issues from both a secular and biblical worldview enabling them to understand differing perspectives and better equip them to answer questions that will range from political, ethical, and historical in nature.

Requirements:

Students are expected to come to class ready participate respectfully and in an understanding way that honors Christ and seeks to understand the Bible’s stance on various issues. When the instructor ends the conversation or changes the topic, students are expected to end the conversation. Students who cannot do this will be asked to step outside for a moment, regain their composure, and return to class. Students may not leave the classroom unless asked to do so or given permission by the instructor.

Reflection Papers – 40%
Book Report Choice – 10%
Book Report – 20%
Reading Report – 20%
Participation – 10%
Upon completion of this course, a student will earn 0.5 bible credit.

5 hours independently per day, 1 hour working with a parent per day
