Ballet

It covers basic positions, steps, and combinations at the barre and center floor. The second semester will mainly center on learning a dance for the spring Night to Remember. Violin and Viola

Instructor: Mrs. Robin Moreland Description: This is a once a week 25-minute private violin, viola, or cello lesson scheduled during the school day or Friday lab time.  It is open for 3rd through 12th grade beginners on all three instruments.  Intermediate and advanced lessons are open to any violin student grades 3rd through 12th.  Students will learn to play violin, viola, or cello, read music, and perform.  There will be recitals given in December and May with dates and times to be scheduled.  An optional solo and ensemble contest will be held in the spring.  Practice for a minimum of…

This hands-on class will teach students the basics of machine sewing.  We will first learn about sewing safety, fabric, buttons, and patterns.  Students will quickly be sewing up projects in these key areas: hug, hold it, give, wear, recycle and repair.
