Instructor: TBD Description: Junior Master Gardener Club will be an afterschool club that meets for 3-12th grade. We will learn all about plants, gardening, bugs, and much more! The Garden Club will meet during warmer months, with indoor activities on bad weather days. Our goal is to maintain the vegetable garden beds on the back of the school property. Run Club

Instructor: Jennifer Sands Description: Run Club is for all students and meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 – 3:45 pm during warmer months. You don’t have to be a great runner, you just have to have a pair of running shoes and water. Practice is held after school from 3:15-3:45. We work on long distance running, sprints, relays, and even practice hurdles.  Each semester we have at least 3 optional 1mile/5k runs students can participate in on the weekend. Ballet

Instructor: Courtney Johnson Description: This class is for middle school and high school girls who are new to ballet or have had some previous ballet. It covers basic positions, steps, and combinations at the barre and center floor. The second semester will mainly center on learning a dance for the spring Night to Remember. Requirements: This class will meet once per week. Homework is minimal and may include practicing the performance piece at home with a video. Violin and Viola

Instructor: Mrs. Robin Moreland Description: This is a once a week 25-minute private violin, viola, or cello lesson scheduled during the school day or Friday lab time.  It is open for 3rd through 12th grade beginners on all three instruments.  Intermediate and advanced lessons are open to any violin student grades 3rd through 12th.  Students will learn to play violin, viola, or cello, read music, and perform.  There will be recitals given in December and May with dates and times to be scheduled.  An optional solo and ensemble contest will be held in the spring.  Practice for a minimum of…

Instructor: Mike Johnson, 8th Degree Black Belt and Owner/Instructor of the Texas Black Belt Academy in Arlington, TX.
