Grammar 1

Instructor: Shannon Rosales Description: This course will be an in-depth study of grammar using Analytical Grammar.  We will cover season one and season two which is heavy on diagramming.  Grammar 2 will cover season three involving usage and mechanics.  It is an excellent program in which the child will “graduate” from grammar studies with a thorough understanding of the English language structure and composition. The student will also practice editing and writing mechanics skills through daily “Caught’ya” exercises and Roots, Prefixes, and Suffixes using Word Roots. Run Club

Instructor: Jennifer Sands Description: Run Club is for all students and meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 – 3:45 pm during warmer months. You don’t have to be a great runner, you just have to have a pair of running shoes and water. Practice is held after school from 3:15-3:45. We work on long distance running, sprints, relays, and even practice hurdles.  Each semester we have at least 3 optional 1mile/5k runs students can participate in on the weekend.
