World Geography

Description:
Join us on a global journey! Each week, we’ll explore a new country, pray for its children, and learn about its culture, climate, and geography. Students will research and present information about an assigned country. Grab your passport and explore God’s World with us!
Requirements:
Stay informed of your child’s assignments, due dates, and progress through the year; communicate with me should any problems arise.
Assist your child with homework (correcting spelling, putting forth best effort, turning work in on time). This includes providing resources for your student and supervising internet usage.
Make sure that your child is properly supplied with all materials every school day.
Coach and encourage your child, and model a positive attitude about reading and homework.

None
Grades:
Students will complete weekly homework and receive a grade. They will also research and present on an assigned country, graded on research and presentation.
Level of Parental Involvement
Elementary:
2 hours independently per day, 3 hours working with a parent per day
