Description:
This 4th-grade math course covers addition, subtraction, patterns, place value, multiplication, measurement, division, fractions, and decimals. Students will learn through concrete, pictorial, and abstract methods to build meaningful mathematical understanding.
Requirements:
Students must participate in class discussions, stay on-task, submit assignments on time, and practice math facts weekly.
Prerequisites:
Enrollment requires passing MRA’s 3rd-grade math or meeting expectations on an entrance assessment.
Grades:
Based on homework, math facts, in-class quizzes, and at-home tests.
Level of Parental Involvement
Elementary:
2 hours independently per day, 3 hours working with a parent per day
