Description:

students will be taught mobile photography, using a smartphone, or tablet. First semester will introduce composition in photography and focus on inanimate objects. Classroom instruction will be brief, and the majority of class will be outside putting into practice the concepts being taught. Second semester will focus on photographing people. The purpose of this class is to help students see the world they live in differently, and challenge them to capture it in artistic ways.

This course will count as a 1/2 credit for electives or fine arts for high school students.

Requirements:

The students will meet once a week. Students will participate in class discussions and projects. Projects not completed in class will need to be completed outside of class time. Grading will consist of class participation and projects.
