This 5th grade course will introduce students to Texas History through Texas History in Light of the Cross Curriculum. It is designed to cover the history, geography and government of our great state as well as supplementary readings provided in the classroom: Texas Almanac, Discover Texas, plus various websites and activities. As Christians, history is “HIS Story”-an unfolding of God’s plan for man.Where will your explorations lead you?

Students will be graded on homework, class participation, tests, and projects.

Elementary:
2 hours independently per day, 3 hours working with a parent per day
